Accounting that already knows what you sold

Standalone accounting tools make you capture the same sale twice: once when you quote or ship it, and again when you invoice it. Reconciliation then becomes a month-end chore of matching bank lines to invoices by hand.

In Quantum the invoice is created from the order, the receipt is allocated against the oldest open invoice, and the bank reconciliation screen suggests which receipt each bank line is. You confirm the match, Quantum posts a balanced journal, and the difference between the bank and the books falls to zero.

VAT, receivables ageing and payroll taxes are calculated from the same records, so the figures for your returns are always one click away. Invoices and payments can also be exported as CSV for your accountant.
